Let me put that in my notes
When my brother was seven or so, he was given a multi-use tool as a toy. It had a tape measurer, a bubble level, and a small notepad with a pencil. It was an all-in-one taker and recorder of measurements.
Decades later I found this toy in a drawer and had a good laugh. The only note that my brother had written: “Let me put that in my notes.”
